Cooler weather makes me want to snuggle up in a sleeping bag by a campfire under the stars. I love the smokey flavors of anything sizzled over a firepit, so for this edition of Friday’s Fab Five, I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite camping recipes!

Break out your dutch oven, round up some logs, and light a match because these camping recipes are as fun to make as they are tasty! Getting out of the house for a breath of fresh air and some homemade food with friends and family is one of my fondest childhood memories. We used to go camping for an entire week every year in a tent, with none of today’s modern appliances, cell phones, or internet. It was just my family, my best friend’s family, fishing, tubing down the river, listening to music, and cooking by the campfire!

I have some super easy camping recipes for you, that will give you one satisfied and happy family. Prep that awesome Dublin coddle ahead of time, place the Dutch oven over the campfire and let it cook itself. Or make your s’mores in waffle cones at home, toss them in the fire for a few minutes and they’re done!
