My current situation is this – I have a 3 year old that is full on “discovering his personality”, a 6 month old colicy baby girl, and a husband that travels a lot! To say that I am at max-capacity is an understatement. I feel like I have a lot of balls in the air, impressing myself at times, but if you throw one more at me, I’m going to drop them all. Therefore, I need to keep the toddler busy withe a little self-play lol!
John at times is experiencing mild jealousy issues. He knows when his baby sister cries, I’m going to pick her up. Before I can even get to her, he runs over to me and says “up, up, up mommy”. I’m hoping that if I can build some of these DIY cardboard box crafts for him, then maybe it will give him a fun space to play in so that I can perhaps take a break wash bottles or do laundry lol.
For this edition of Friday’s Fab Five, I thought I’d share a few DIY cardboard box crafts for toddlers that I’d like to try because, let’s face it, John’s favorite gifts are always the box, never the presents inside. Hopefully this will give me and his baby sister a few minutes of space here and there while he takes a trip around the moon in his cardboard rocket ship!
