Happy Friday everyone! I am SOOOOO excited that the weekend has finally arrived. My husband isn’t traveling this weekend, so I’m looking forward to a whole lotta R&R, and some good “do nothing” family time. And bonus that it’s Easter this Sunday! Big smiles over here!
It’s finally starting to feel like spring outside, also know at my house as “milkshake season”. We don’t frequent drive-thrus very often, but when we do, a milkshake is a must-add-on to our order lol. I especially love making milkshakes at home, and probably will more often thanks to a few delicious milkshake recipes, shared below :)
PS – two of the milkshake recipes below and “adult only” because you know I love myself a good cocktail here and there ESPECIALLY in milkshake form, although the alcohol is optional.
1. I can’t wait to give this super festive {3 Ingredient} cake batter milkshake recipe by Cooking Classy a try. I hope it’s as good as it is beautiful!
2. For the most part, the only sweets I like is anything chocolate, with the exception of this bananas foster milkshake recipe. You literally make bananas foster and then blend it with ice cream and a little bit of spiced rum! Yum!!!
3. I have to agree with David at Spiced Blog, “This classic Oreo milkshake is quite simply one of the best desserts ever!”
4. Using a box of red velvet cake mix, Chocolate Chocolate and More {she had me at the name of her blog} whips up an amazing red velvet milkshake!
5. This mudslide milkshake recipe, by yours truly, is one of my all time favorites that I go to often. I took a traditional mudslide martini, blended with ice cream, and sucked it down with a straw. Proceed with caution… they go down quickly lol.
I hope you’ll share your favorite milkshake recipe below! Please also see my cocktail recipes where you’ll find lots of inspiration for your next “adult beverage”.
