I needed to put together a last minute, yet fun and festive Halloween dessert for a friend’s pumpkin carving party tonight, so I went with white cake and vanilla frosting candy corn cupcakes.
Just like the candy corn symbolic with Halloween, these cupcakes are super bright stacked with shades of yellow, then orange, and topped with white frosting. It’s the same technique I used for my 4th of July cupcakes, but easier, since the frosting was a no-fuss solid white and the batter was only two colors {not swirled, just stacked} instead of three.
