We’re finally having our first cold day here in Florida. It got down to a super low of 55 degrees lol, just in time for my winter tablescape. I set this up right before Thanksgiving and I’ve been so excited to share it with you all.
Before I started my tablescape, I knew that I wanted something that was mostly silver and white for a wintery feel, with a splash of plum. I wanted to go with a vintage-inspired winter theme so that it would last an entire season, rather than a Thanksgiving or Christmas theme that would have to be switched out after each holiday.
This tablescape is also super affordable. I found the silver beaded chargers and clear glass votives at the dollar store, the faux leather pearl finish placemats were on sale at Pier One for 30% off of $5.95 each {they wipe clean so easily}, and the foiled vase, candlesticks, and votives are all from Michael’s. I had a coupon for 40% off my entire purchase. I finished things off with plum napkins found at World Market folded vertically under our plates, white flowers from my local grocery store, and a couple of festive silver birds {doves maybe lol}.
I’m excited about the votives stacked on top of the candlestick holders. I thought this was a fun alternative to candlesticks so that I don’t end up with too much smoke at the dinner table and all over my chandelier.
Is this winter tablescape something you would try? Have you decorated your table this season?
