We’re taking notes on this kitchen makeover by No Small Life, featuring her journey from Oak to Kona, Tuscan to Glam. The results are impressive! Megan proves that, even on an tight budget, if you’re willing to put in the work, you can make a MAJOR impact. Thank you so much for sharing your modern kitchen makeover with our readers, Megan!

Fab Fatale’s Linkup Favs

It was nearly impossible to narrow my favs down to only 5, but here’s what really caught my eye this week:

  • I’m so in the mood for spring thanks to Jan Loves’ lace dress and chambray top outfit of the day!
  • I’m not sure if Funky Jungle is one of my favs because of her all black outfit or her super short red hair. Both are fab, bold, and so worthy of a mention!
  • I love a good mix of neutrals with a splash of light blue chambray! My Rose Colored Glasses is so spring stylish in her gold, white and blue.
  • If you love her style, as I do, then you’re probably going to love the blogs that inspire Oh to Be a Muse daily.
  • For those of you that think navy and black don’t mix well, the Librarian for Lifestyle would like to prove you wrong!

Please check out the Bon Bon Rose Girls’ and The Budget Babe’s favs of the week for more inspiration!

DIY Printable Passport Invitation

DIY Free Printable Airplane Ticket Invitations Download Beach Wedding

If you are a frequent reader of FF, then you’ve probably noticed my printable airplane ticket invitation post trending in my sidebar nearly everyday. That post has been such a big hit, that by popular request, I thought it was time to also share my beach wedding passports that were sent along with my invitations.

I’m so happy to offer up all of my passport files for you to download for free, but please note that Photoshop skills are a must to customize these for your big day! Also, the centerfold is a map of where our wedding and reception took place that I created in Illustrator and Photoshop. I really don’t know the first thing about Illustrator, but I figured out the brush tool and added a stroke to it to create the roads. Once I had all the roads worked out, I opened the file in Photoshop and then added in some Microsoft clip art, where I literally copied the clip art from a Word file and pasted it into my Photoshop document.

I’m sure this entire project could have been pulled off in a more sophisticated way, entirely in Illustrator and/or InDesign, but I worked it out and I’m happy to share my printable passport invitation with you all.

After I printed the passport pages {two passport pages will print per sheet to save paper}, I used a Cutterpede Paper Trimmer to trim the edges. You will see three dots in the corner of each page. Align the Cutterpede along the dots, as this is your trim edge. After cutting each page, I used the Cutterpede Perforating Blade, sold separately, to fold each page.

The interior pages featured local attractions, as well as a wedding timeline of events.

Additional Tips: The pages will be printed on the front and back and will line up perfectly. So, for example, print the front cover, flip the page over horizontally, and then print the back cover. I used a thick semi-gloss paper for the cover and had it printed at a print shop so the color would be vibrant. The inside of a real passport uses thin paper and faded ink, so it was fine to print these pages at home. Lastly, after all of the pages are lined up, we bound them together with a sewing machine.

Friday’s Fab Five – Baked Casserole Recipes

Chicken Alfredo Baked Ziti Casserole Recipe

I love myself a good baked casserole on a weeknight, but by the time I search the internet for a few good recipes, then I’m in a massive hurry! I need a recipe picked out before I get off work, a quick run to the grocery store, and then a mad sprint to get everything in a dish before my toddler starts to freak out from hunger. Today’s Fab Five features a few baked casserole recipes I’ll go to next time I’m on dinner duty.

1. Gimme Some Oven touts this chicken alfredo baked ziti recipe as simple to make, affordable, delicious, and picky-eater friendly!

Baked Parmesan Chicken Recipe

2. To make this paremsan chicken bake, throw everything in a casserole dish, bake, and eat. That’s it!

Baked Chicken Marsala Casserole Recipe

3. I LOVE chicken marsala, so I can’t wait to give this rustic chicken marsala casserole a try, immediately if not sooner!

Baked Chicken Enchilada Casserole Recipe

4. I love making Mexican casseroles for friends and family, so hopefully this enchilada casserole will be a fun and delicious diversion from my usual burrito pie.

Cheesy Bacon Chicken Casserole

5. I’m hoping this cheesy bacon chicken casserole, also known as crazy good casserole, tastes as good as it looks!

Have any favorite baked casserole recipes you like to share? Please tell me below!

Toddler Valentines Day Cards, Crafts, Cookies and More

Toddler Valentines Day Cards Crafts DIY

Happy Friday everyone. Friday’s Fab Five is my weekly inspiration board of things I’d like to buy, try, and DIY. This week, it’s all about things you can make with your toddler for Valentine’s Day, and I’ve already tried two of the five for John’s Valentines Day party at school. Check out my Instagram for our version of the cookies and cards :)

1. This was the first year that my kiddo was old enough to bring Valentine’s Day cards to school, so of course I had to refer to my trusty Pinterest for some fun ideas! I love these painted heart hand print toddler Valentines Day cards by Rosy Posy. Here are ours in progress.

Toddler Valentines Day Cookies Heart Dipped Sprinkles

2. I signed up to bring cookies and these chocolate dipped heart shaped sprinkle cookies by Sunshine and Hurricanes were perfect. Check out baby boy making them last night, and then the finished product.

Toddler Valentines Day Crafts Heart Stamp Toilet Paper Roll

3. I love the idea of this toilet paper roll turned heart shaped stamp by Rust and Sunshine! Look at his little thinking hand waving around in the air. Reminds me of John. So cute!

Toddler Valentines Day Card Apple Squeeze Pouch

4. I really wanted John’s cards to be personalized by him so that we could give some out to family as well, so that’s why I opted for the hand painted cards, but these applesauce squeeze pouch Valentine’s Day cards were a very close runner up.

Toddler Valentines Day Craft Heart SunCatcher

5. I think John and I will work on this heart suncatcher tomorrow for Valentine’s Day. It will be a fun way to spend the afternoon together.

Do you have any toddler Valentines Day cards or craft ideas you can share? I hope you’ll tell me below!
