Boy Toddler Room - Home Decorating Inspiration

BEYOND excited about this update! BEYOND!!! A few weeks ago, Havenly.com reached out to me about teaming up and after getting more info about their unique decorating services, I was totally on board! At Havenly, the room of your choice gets professionally designed and delivered, all online and all for one low flat fee per room. Absolutely brilliant! I know exactly what I want and love, but having a professional help me hone in all of my ideas was SO helpful. I never imagined that I would be able to work with an interior decorator, but Havenly makes their services affordable and convenient. Check out their concept boards below. I need your help deciding on a design!

We moved into our new home in March and after picking out every single light fixture, paint color, bricks, shingles, cabinets, countertops, appliances, faucets, and everything else, I was SO done making choices. It was such an amazing and fun process, but I was burnt out on design decisions and needed to recharge before I could start decorating. Five months later, right when my creative energy started flowing again and I was getting ready to give John’s room a makeover, I met and fell in love with Havenly! Great timing!

Nesting wasn’t an option in John’s nursery because we moved into a rental when I was nine months pregnant and moved again on his first birthday, although I did my best with a bit of gender neutral decor. Now that he is a toddler and into everything, he deserves a fun little boy room that is childproofed, yet will grow with him. I shared last week’s “rustic meets whimsical” toddler boy room inspiration post with the team at Havenly (collage above), sent them the dimensions for John’s room, set a budget for products, filled out their questionnaire, and five days later, they delivered two amazing product concept boards that I couldn’t wait to share with you all (below). They even incorporated actual pics of the crib and dresser we already have and would like to work into the new design.

Now that John’s two room concepts have been delivered to my inbox, I need your help! Please take a look at the room boards below and take a vote on your fav – safari or surf shack. I have a fav in mind, but I could totally be persuaded ;) For some reason, I was going to wait until my room renderings were delivered to share all of this with you all, but when these concept boards came in, I was bursting with excitement to get your feedback. I hope you’ll share your thoughts on what room I should go for in the comments below.

Upon giving feedback to Havenly on their concepts, they will deliver two room renderings to showcase their ideas on how everything should be laid out and I can’t wait to share those in a future update, so I hope you’ll check in again soon.

I really thought I was going to like the surf shack when I first saw the pics on fb, but on a closer look I really, really like the safari room. I think it’s the map (for the geographer in me), the comfy reading chair, and the cute bear in the wagon. Good luck choosing!
