Happy last Boozey Tuesdays of summer! As the season comes to an end, so does my summer cocktail series. I hope you all tried out a recipe or two? If so, you’ll have to let me know what you think.
Today, I have a blackberry sangria for you all, my second favorite cocktail ever, just after the frozen mudslide. The blackberry sangria will transition your summer sangria into fall by replacing the white wine and light summer fruit with your favorite cabernet and blackberries. I’ve actually covered this blackberry sangria recipe at my blog before (it’s a recipe from Carrabbas), but I had to bring it back for Boozey Tuesdays and thought it needed an updated pic. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 bottle red wine (inexpensive, or your favorite will do)
- 6.5 ounces of Tuaca
- 14 ounces of Monin Blackberry Mix Syrup
- 14 ounces of cranberry juice
- 1 small can Sprite
- 1/2 cup blackberries
Instructions
- In a pitcher, combine house wine, Tuaca, blackberry syrup, and cranberry juice. Serve over ice with a splash of sprite and garnish with a blackberry. Enjoy!
If you have any favorite fall cocktails, I hope you’ll share your recipes in the comments below :) I love getting inspiration from you all!
