When I started by Pinterest account years ago, who would have thought I’d become an addict lol. I created an At Home board and had I known at the time that I’d be showing these pics to an architect and designer someday, I probably would have broken it down into separate kitchen, office, bathrooms, living room, etc. boards. I decided to curate my collection of pins into separate posts here, to makes things easier when I meet up with the people working on our house, so first up is the room I’m most excited about, my office / blogging space.
We are going to have a breakfast nook in our new house, so my blogging space will really be the dining room. At first I thought I’d just keep the room set up as a formal dining room, since I take so many pics of food, but now I think I may set it up into different sections for all the things I do as a blogger – a DIY corner, a desk, a space for food photography, maybe a few shelves to organize my nail polish for Manicure Mondays. Hopefully this post will help me organize all of my ideas for this space.
Love this sitting area – the black frames, the beautiful chairs, the side table and the chandelier.
A crafty, yet sophisticated and stylish office. Love the chandelier.
I’d like a more substantial desk and shelves, but I like the mix of a patterned rug and a fun color on the walls.
I love this DIY contact paper {temporary} chevron wall. I think my desk will sit in the middle of the room, facing the doorway, with a fun patterned feature wall behind me. My husband HATES wall paper, so hopefully this will be a solution, or maybe paint on the chevron pattern.
Oh the pretty things. I had to bookmark this one for ideas on side table decor.
I would love this hutch to store and display the items I’ve collected for my food styling and photography (something I’m trying to get better at lately).
Loving the accessories. I like to refer to this as “the art of placement” lol. I would probably replace the pink {too girly for me} with dark purples, and have an unfinished wood, or white painted wood desk to make this a little less modern.
What’s not to love about this fun diy inspiration board made of clipboards on a wall.
