Beach Waves Clipless Curling Wand

Subscribe – FabFatale on YouTube

I’m having too much fun with my new long hair and trying all the trends that are so popular right now. I wear my sock bun about twice a week, a few weeks ago I shared my diy ombre tutorial and today I’m giving beach waves a try using the Modiva Professional clipless curling wand.

Modiva sent me their 25mm (1 inch) curling wand to review and I’m so happy I had the chance to try it out! Check out the video above for my demo and review. Also, check out Modiva Professional’s website for styling tips and more how-to videos!

For a limited time only, use promo code “fabfatale” at modiva.com to save 25% off all of their curling irons!

I hope you all can offer up some suggestions on what products you use before and after curling your hair. I’d also love some styling advice if you see room for improvement in my technique. I can’t wait to curl my hair again!

The products mentioned in this post were sent to me by the merchant or their PR company. All opinions are 100% my own. For more info, please view my full disclosure policy.

Your Thoughts?

  • AH! I love it. As I mentioned, I tried a no heat technique last night and I wound up with an afro! But, it has relaxed A LOT since 6am this morning haha. I get the best curls using my small curling iron but it takes forever. I would love to try one of these curling wands.

Trina, I LOVE this curling wand. Even with argon oil only in my hair, the curls stuck straight off the wand. You can wind the hair tight on the wand and hold it for a couple of seconds for a tight curl, or spread it out over the wand and stretch it out when you’ve removed the wand for a looser curl. It’s awesome. They also have a 25% off sale going on now with the promo code :)

  • Who would have thought? If your hair goes past your shoulders, it’s more fragile and you’ll want to protect those ends with conditioner BEFORE shampoo. This will ensure that they stay healthy and moisture becomes locked in, in order to avoid breakage.
