Some of my favorite mommy products are on sale today at Gilt.com. There is so much to choose from, but I thought I’d feature my top 3 must-haves.
Aden+Anais swaddle wraps were the most highly recommended product by my mommy friends when I was pregnant with baby John. Now that I have experience with these wraps, I can also say that they are perfect for swaddling your newborn. They are large, super soft, stretchy, and breathable so that your baby does not get too hot. Use for traditional swaddling, as a burp cloth, nursing shield, or to cover your baby in a stroller or carseat. There are several sets to choose from on sale now for $49.95.
When baby John turned 1 month, he started kicking off his swaddle wraps and fighting us as we wrapped him. We decided it was time for him to graduate to the Halo SleepSack, and it helps me sleep at night knowing that his face won’t get covered in loose blankets. I also love that there is plenty of room for him to kick at the bottom so that he doesn’t get hip dysplasia. The SleepSack zips from the bottom, making middle of the night diaper changes super easy.
This is the perfect set for anyone you know that is expecting a baby. Designed with whimsical prints, the HALO SleepSack Crib Set will help create a beautiful and safe nursery for your little one. The American Academy of Pediatrics and leading safety organizations warn against the use of soft, loose bedding and bumpers in cribs. Instead of potentially dangerous comforters and bumpers, this unique five-piece Safe Sleep Crib Set contains only those things your baby needs to sleep safe and sound from the start: a coordinating HALO SleepSack wearable blanket, SleepSack Swaddle, two soft 100% cotton jersey fitted crib sheets and matching decorative skirt. On sale for $44, regularly $100.
I actually don’t own this carrier yet, but it was on my to-buy list so I just picked it up when I came across this sale. A while back, I tweeted my followers to see what they thought of the Baby Bjorn. Without even mentioning the Ergo, the responses overwhelmingly said this is the must-have carrier.
The other carrier I was interested in was the Moby wrap, but after borrowing my friend’s, I decided against it because I just got too hot all wrapped up against my baby in this Florida heat. In fact, that’s why I’m going with the Performance version of this carrier because the fabric is a bit more breathable than their other options. The Ergo Performance carrier is on sale now for $80, marked down from $108.
