Last week was my husband’s birthday on the 7th and our anniversary on the 8th. He was out of town for both, so we celebrated his birthday when he got back this weekend. We went all fancy pants to the Governor’s Club and had one of the best dinners EVER. It was so good that we’re going back this weekend to celebrate our anniversary lol.
I had the watermelon and cucumber salad with wasabi dusted peanuts and a cilantro lime vinaigrette, he had the prosciutto wrapped asparagus with a side of mozzarella slices, he was nice enough to share his alfredo macaroni and cheese with me, and then I had the most amazing filet over horseradish mashed potatoes and asparagus, topped with grilled onions and mushrooms.
