JewelMint Ever Frost Ring

Mixed Metals Gold Silver Manicure Nail Polish

It’s officially fall, which means it’s time to pile on the accessories, and the trend this season is to mix up your metals. One reason (of many) I love JewelMint so much is because they make the trend so dang easy to pull off. If you are a beginner to mixing metals, try working with either all shiny or all tarnished metals and mix in a little bling here and there – dark stones for tarnished metals, or light and bright stones for shiny metals. The JewelMint Ever Frost ring combines gold, silver, and white enamel, so any color shiny metal accessories will pair perfectly.

For a how-to tutorial on this look, check out the post over at The Beauty Department. To add in another metal, I deviated from the design just a bit to add in the rose gold dots with my dotting tool. I used colors I had on hand including: China Glaze Jingle Bells for the base color on all nails, Sally Hansen Silver Sweep for the tips, Deborah Lippmann Boom Boom Pow for the accent finger (Sephora by OPI Only Gold For Me is an exact dupe at half the price) and China Glaze Hi-Tek for the rose gold dots.

So what do you think of this mixed metals manicure? Is this something you would try? If so, I hope you’ll share your pics in the comments. I always love hearing from you all!
