Jovovich Hawk Floral Dress Coachella Music Festival Style

Jovovich Hawk Floral Dress Coachella Music Festival Style

jovovich-hawk for target floral multi-color dress –, dolce vita for target rope wedge sandals in brown –, cuff –, multi-color braided belt –, monica cross-body bag – Shop Suey Boutique, alex & ani purple ring –, china glaze sea spray (light blue) nail polish –

Shop Suey Boutique contacted me recently and said that I could choose any item from their site that I’d like to review. They have handbags that range up to $85, and this would have been the perfect opportunity to add one of their luxury totes to my closet; however, price tags aside, I had my eye on the Monica Cross-Body Handbag for it’s function and style.

Beyond the fact that it is affordable at only $48, I go to a lot of races (motocross and Nascar) and really needed a bag that was lightweight and just big enough to carry my ID, credit card, credentials, lipgloss and keys. It’s actually big enough for my large wallet and cell phone as well. This cross-body bag is perfect for holding your essentials while you keep your hands free for water and nachos at all of your spring / summer outdoor events – baseball games and music festivals.

I love love love the quilted design and the removable strap is perfect if you’d like to dress this bag up as a clutch. This handbag makes me realize that maybe I should scale down rather than always carrying a large handbag that hides everything I’m digging for on a daily basis, lol. Smaller handbags are definitely the trend this season, in particular cross-body handbags!

Love the look and the dress! I wish I could have seen this dress in person, but my Target didn’t have it. Looks fab on you. And I wish I hadn’t seen this bag, because I’m gonna have to buy it now! I am a bag whore! LOL

I tried these wedges awhile back in store and thought they were a tad heavy. Preferred the Pilar wedges (also at Target).

heeey arshi! ill have to check out the other wedges you mentioned. so happy you like the dress. it is so fun. im not much of a dress girl, or color, or flowers, but loved this one for some reason lol. it was top of my list for the sale. i stayed up until 4 am waiting for the sale to open online, and this one wasn’t on there so after 4 hours of sleep, i went to target early to secure my top pick lol. thanks for the comment!

LOVE your Dolce Vita for Target Wedge Sandals!

Are they comfy to walk in all day?

    • jennifer says:

no, not comfy to walk in all day lol. but i think that 1. i haven’t worn in high heels in forever, and 2. they may need to be broken in. the back rubs above my ankle a little bit. i think it’s just me, not them. i still love them and hope to break them in soon with the help of a band-aid lol.

  3. soooo loving the spray tan. I threaten to try it year after year and I think this one might be it. You look adorable. LOVE the dress. LOVE IT!

doesn’t it look great with the bag? i bought the dress to go with the bag, usually its the other way around, but the crossbody inspired :)

  5. Arshi says:

Hey! You know what, I am not a floral girl at all lol I feel flowers make me look pedestrian..for lack of another word. So may be I should try this dress. Looks fab on you.

This outfit looks FAB on you! Is that belt the multi braid from Target? I bought this dress but I’m not sure if I’m keeping it because its just SO much fabric on me. Doesn’t look that way on you at all!

    • jennifer says:

thank you so much! yes, the belt is sold separately and it is the multi-braid belt from target. i saw the model wearing it in the Designer Collective lookbook lol. it is a lot of material, so for me, a belt was necessary. i couldn’t imagine wearing this dress without it. im so happy you like the look and thanks so much for your comment :)

  16. this look on you is my fave, its looks airy and effortless. saw where you commented about the wedges rubbing your foot and you could get through it w a bandaid. have you ever heard of Friction Block Stick by the makers of BAND-AID? It is the most genius invention for breaking in shoes. it’s basically a wax stick you rub on your feet where the shoes rub creating a barrier so you don’t get blisters and/or lose the skin where the shoes rub. i swear by it! it’s about $4 at the drugstore.
